Costa neoRomantica as it is called now, was formerly Costa Romantica, sister ship to Costa Classica.
Costa Romantica underwent a €90 million refurbishing in November 2011 where two new half decks were added thereby increasing the gross tonnage of the ship. After the refurbishing, the ship was renamed Costa neoRomantica and started her first journey in March 2012. She visited New Zealand for the first time in December 2012.
Costa neoRomantica carries mostly Italian passengers and services provided will need to include other languages like Italian, French, Portuguese, Spanish and German.
